We have been fortunate to partner with many groups and individuals in addition to members of the Town of Richmond. All of their efforts, talents and resources have been vital to the successes and strides that have been made in this community. Please join our partners and make a much needed donation today.

Below are suggested giving levels and their impact on our various efforts in Richmond. Please be sure to review our budget for a more comprehensive look at how donations are applied to the projects directly.

Hope for Good Health
Funds HIV/AIDS education for youth, soccer based education, Grass Roots Soccer coaches training and staffing in Richmond, staff for HIV/AIDS health center and the care & counseling of individuals diagnosed with HIV/AIDS.

$35 funds one day of the important work and support offered by the HIV/AIDS Outreach Clinic which is open five days per week.

$50 funds one day of salaries, office expenses, training and capital expenses for the youth of Richmond to benefit from the great experiences and lifelong impact of Grass Root Soccer.

$350 funds the annual expense to have coaches from outside of Richmond come to train the coaches that live and work in Richmond year round.


Hope for Good Sanitation
As our before an after pictures demonstrate, providing central toilets, sinks and showers as well as a trash disposal system have been a major part of our outreach. Funds modest plans for upgrades to these community facilities in 2009.

$2,000 funds the entire capital expenses planned for upgrades.


Hope for Community Development
Funds the operating and capital expenses of the Community Library, community celebrations, music and recreational facilities at the Community Center.

$100 will go a long way toward the $10,000 needed to install playground equipment and sport play areas like basketball for the youth of Richmond.

$200 will fund a portion of the $20,000 of capital expenses needed to establish the community library for the youth of Richmond.


Hope For Good Nutrition
Funds the Soup Kitchen which provides about 135 hot meals five days per week to the youth of Richmond and pays the salaries of two part-time workers who prepare the meals, purchase the food and organize the volunteers who assist with serving the meal.

$75 funds a hot meal for 135 children in Richmond for one day.

$150 feeds one child a hot meal, five days per week for an entire year.


Hope for Good Jobs
Funds the new Training Center’s operating expenses to continue to establish the home where women will gather to work and be trained and temporary employment.

$50 funds the temporary employment of one adult from Richmond on our projects while our overseas volunteers are there.

$10,000 will fund the complete refurbishment and capital expenditures associated with establishing the training center’s home.
